MACK A WRIGHT, DDS
When it comes to your dentist, you want to be able to choose someone the entire family is going to enjoy seeing. Dr. Wright has been voted Champaign County’s number one dentist for the last three years.
I love being a dentist because it allows me to give someone back their smile. It is truly a pleasure to work with the people in my community on a daily basis and make a positive impact on their lives. Each patient I meet has a unique personality that brings diversity to each day at the office. Along with my awesome team, we work together to treat each patient with respect and compassion.
Education and Experience
I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1995 from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. The field of dentistry is always changing to enhance the patients’ experience and I strive to implement new technology in my practice and deliver new procedures to my patients. I attend numerous continuing education classes from many sources, including Sumato, a local organization comprising dentists who meet regularly for the purpose of continuing their education to better treat their patients. I am also an active member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Mad River Valley Dental Society.
Family Life
I am a Cable, Ohio, native, growing up on a horse farm and graduating from Triad High School. I now own my own farm and live there with my lovely wife, Melinda, our daughters Kenna and Corinne. When I’m not spending as much time as possible with my family, I enjoy hiking, fishing, and traveling.
In The Community
Because I am a Cable local, I understand the importance of being an active member of the community where I work and live. I am a member of Grace Baptist Church and support students in Mechanicsburg, Triad, and Urbana with sports and yearbooks. I also sponsor golf outings and benefits for community members in need. I am a member of Chamber of Commerce in Urbana and am very supportive of the Champaign County Fair.

I obtained my Dental Hygiene degree from Rhodes State College in 2005. I currently reside in Zanesfield with my fiancé, 2 children and 2 cats. Something to know about me is that I am a lover of oddities and curiosities. Halloween is one of my favorite times to decorate.

I work in the front office part time and my main focus is on insurance problems. I started in the dental field in 1995 as an assistant. The best part of my job is catching up with patients every few months. I love the relaxed environment Dr. Wright has made for our patients and employees. I live in Mechanicsburg with my husband Jon. We have 2 children, 1 dog and 4 cats.

I have called Dr. Wright’s office my work home for 12 years. 5 years ago I got the opportunity to further my dental career and obtained my Expanded Functions Dental Assistant License that allows me to place fillings. I love being able to help patients everyday. I live in Mechanicsburg with my husband, Andy and our 3 children. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 15 chickens and a turkey named Kimmy.

I have been with Dr. Wright’s office for over 20 years. I am one of Dr. Wright’s Expanded Functions Dental Assistants. Not only do I get to restore peoples smiles every day, I get to build friendships and bond with my patients. I find my job very rewarding and have the most amazing work family. My husband, Tim and I have been married for 29 years. We have raised 3 beautiful daughters and have a granddaughter that I get to spoil.

I joined the Mack Wright team in August of 2019. I work at the front desk verifying insurance, scheduling patients and keeping Dr. Wright on task. I enjoy hosting friends and family during the Buckeye Football season, being a cheer mom on the weekend and watching my kiddos play baseball under the lights at the local park. In my spare time I like to golf and take long walks on the beach.

As office manager, I am usually the first person you will meet when you come to our office! I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Wright since 1998 and love the interaction I have with our patients. Working in dentistry is an extremely rewarding job. We get to see peoples' live change through the work we do every day. I believe our office is the best at what we do. Our unique personalities and backgrounds come together to offer our patients quality care and a comfortable environment to meet all their needs. I live in Mechanicsburg where we have raised our three children. We stay busy running our family bowling alley and pizza shop. I love to spend our weekends traveling, kayaking and camping.

I have been a member of Dr. Wright's team for 20 years as a dental hygienist. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State University in Dental Hygiene and Psychology . My contribution to the practice and my patients include dental hygiene, preventative care and local anesthesia administration. I was born and raised in Urbana and feel connected to the families that call this community home. I enjoy getting to know each patient on an individual basis while helping them reach optimal oral health. I truly love this practice, this dentist and the quality professionals I work with everyday. In my leisure time I enjoy hiking, boating and spending time with my husband Jon, our 6 children and 2 granddaughters.
